Each high quality art print is approx 12×16 inches (260x340mm) of a botanical water-colour by Clarence Bicknell (1842-1918). Each is one of the 60 images created by the botanist, archaeologist, artist, Esperantist and philanthropist in 1906 for his Casa Fontanalba Visitors’ Book (also available for purchase in his shop). This was his summer house high in the Alps on the border between France and Italy overlooking the Mediterranean. He spent winters in Bordighera nearby on the coast where he created the Bicknell Museum and other institutions. These prints are available signed by one or more of the celebrities supporting the Woodland Trust to whom the net proceeds of your purchase are donated by the Bicknell Family Collection and the Clarence Bicknell Association.
